Hello and thank you for visiting our site! We would ask that you please be patient with us as this is the first litter of Labradoodles we have raised and it's the first website we've ever attempted to build, as well.
These puppies were born in our living room, on the couch and have been handled and loved by our family and friends since birth.
We originally decided we needed Cocoa as a sort of therapy dog for our son. She had been being raised on a farm and had received rather extensive behavior training by her first family. We brought her home and instantly had a new best friend for our son. She has been one of the best things that ever happened to our household.
We had decided early on that we might like to have a litter of puppies out of Cocoa - purely because she had the nicest temperament we had ever seen on a dog and add the fact that she is a truly beautiful Labrador dog, we thought it would be nice to have puppies to share with others. However, we never found the "perfect mate" for Cocoa and so we waited to have her bred.
Because we have a son with special needs, I had done research early on about therapy dogs. In that research, I discovered a new breed of dog - the Labradoodle. Well, I was determined to find the perfect standard poodle to match Cocoa's temperament and have a litter of Labradoodles who we hoped would be gentle, smart and perfect for children and adults with special needs.
In May of 2007, I found the perfect dog: Cappuccino. He was absolutely perfect for Cocoa and it was love at first sniff. Cappuccino was quite a bit younger than Cocoa, but he must like older gals!
We now have the litter of puppies my family has wanted to produce for so long. They are smart, gentle and loving and just simply delightful.

Cocoa and Cappuccino had 11 puppies on Thursday, December 6, 2007. We have 7 boys and 4 girls. They are beautifully colored little pups: 2 creams (York and Zero), 4 chocolates (Snickers, Krackle, Cherry Mash and Kisses) and 5 blacks (Truffles, Lady Godiva, Snickers, Reece and Heath). The puppies are being raised in our living room and are very well-socialized. They will be ready to go to their forever homes around February 3, 2008 - depending upon their new family's schedule.
